A Message from the Club President

Welcome to the Overland Park South Rotary Club website!  While here, you will learn more about our vibrant and energetic service club.  We are one of over 32,000 worldwide Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries.  Our particular club is comprised of individuals from varied business/professional backgrounds who share a passion for serving their community and enjoying the friendships that naturally develop from working alongside each other in service.  We meet each Wednesday at 7:15 AM in the Deer Creek Golf Club at 7000 W. 133^rd St., Overland Park, KS  66209.  After a hot breakfast and an interesting program, you are on your way to work by 8:30 AM. 

The Overland Park South Rotary Club is most known for its annual Jazz In The Woods/Country In The Woods event that raises over $100,000 each year for local children’s charities.  Our event is among the largest, free, family-oriented music festivals in the country and is our gift to the community in support of the chosen charities.  Additionally, our club each year hosts other events for the benefit of area children and our community.  Things like food drives, book drives, social events, micro grants to local charities, tutoring, scholarships, and international service all combine to make the Overland Park South Rotary Club one of the most fun and worthwhile service organizations around.
