What's going on with Rotary in Eastern Kansas

Tamara is the current District Govener for District 5710.

Tamara Jo Sevcik began her Rotary service in September 2010 when she joined the Rotary Club of
Leavenworth. She served as President, 2017-2018; and First Vice President 2016-2017; Second
Vice President, 2015-2016; and the President, Rotary Club of Leavenworth Foundation, 2019-2022.
She continues to serve as the Public Image Chair and chairs several committees within the club such
as the Over-the-Counter Medicine Drive, the Organization for International Spouses and Sponsors,
Scholarships, Educator of the Year and is the site administrator for ClubRunner; she also serves on
the club’s fund-raising committee and on the Meals on Wheels delivery team. At the district level,
Tamara served as an Assistant Governor and recently stepped up to serve as the Rotary Youth
Leadership Awards Assistant Chair.

Tamara has lived in the Leavenworth area since 2005, was born in Granite City, Illinois, and lived in
several states and Germany while traveling with her military family and spouse, Colonel (Retired)
Michael C. Sevcik.
