Update on the BVRC

Shane DeWald is the Executive Director for the Blue Valley Recreation and oversees the operations of the Sports Complex, Activity Center, and Recreation Center at Hilltop. With more than 20 years of experience in parks and recreation, he’s also served as the Executive Director of Belton Parks & Recreation and oversaw the daily operation of a wellness center, two aquatic facilities, and three athletic complexes. A graduate of Fort Hays State University, DeWald received his undergraduate in Health & Human Performance with an emphasis in Recreation/Sport Management as well as a minor in Business. He received his masters from Wichita State University in Sports Administration.
