Gregory Russell Pryor, is a former Major League Baseball player.  He played all or part of ten seasons in the majors from 1976 to 1986. He batted right and threw right handed.

Originally drafted by the Washington Senators, Greg was picked in the 6th round of the 1971 amateur draft  and was the last position player draft pick of the Senators to play in the major leagues.  He debuted in the majors with  the Texas Rangers, in 1976.  He also played several seasons for the Chicago White Sox.  Most importantly, he was a member of the World Series-winning Kansas City Royals in 1985, and is a former member of the Overland Park South Rotary Club..

Greg recently released a book titled “The Day the Yankees Made Me Shave” which includes some colorful stories about Greg’s time playing major league baseball.
